Nigel Guy

I grew up in rural Manawatū, lived in Melbourne for a number of years and call Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington home. My ancestors are from England. I identify as queer and use he/him pronouns. I enjoy hiking, sharing good food with friends and adding to my ever-growing collection of ceramics.

My approach

I’m evidence-based, structured and collaborative. We’ll start by developing a shared understanding of what you’re finding difficult, figure out why it’s happening, and identify factors that might be maintaining these difficulties. From there, we’ll draw from different therapies to create a tailored plan that is best suited to your needs.

I am an accredited EMDR practitioner and also offer cognitive & behaviour-based therapies, including CBT, DBT skills and ACT.

I work with people aged 16 years and older.
