Kaz

I am second-generation Aotearoa-born Chinese with ancestry from Southern China. Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington is currently home for me.

I identify as a Chinese New Zealander, and genderqueer.

My personal journey of building a sense of identity, and life experience adds to the cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding I bring as a therapist.

I have lived experience which means I bring a genuine depth of understanding and empathy.

Working in health care and providing talk therapy/coaching is what I love to do.

Outside of this I enjoy music, working out, walking the dog, local beaches, playing badminton, sharing humour and good kai.

My approach

Providing a welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe environment is important to me. You might be feeling stuck and stagnant in life or struggling with your physical and mental well-being. This might be preventing you from living the life you hope for or being the version of yourself that you aspire to. Together we will figure out what you would like to focus on and what is important to you.

Like you I am also working to create a life that aligns with my values.

I offer talk - therapy and coaching for individuals.

Additionally, if your personal and professional development within a workplace context is of interest. I provide sessions for health professionals & those from any industry, who wish to discuss work related matters and navigating this space.
